Moreno Valley Mayor Yxstian Gutierrez will host a telephone town hall meeting Wednesday.
The session, which is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m., will give residents a chance to express their concerns about the city from their office, living room, automobile or wherever they happen to be, according to a statement.
A talk-radio format will be used, and residents can either call in or listen to the conversation, which will be broadcast simultaneously in English and Spanish.
“Community engagement is crucial,” Gutierrez said in the statement. “All of our lives are so busy it’s difficult to try to squeeze in one more appointment. The telephone town halls will make it as easy as possible for residents to hear about what is going on in our city, ask questions, and air their concerns.”
Residents may register at the Telephone Town Hall Registration Page, www.tthm.wufoo.com, or by emailing [email protected] and providing their name and telephone number. Registration will end at noon Wednesday.
All registered callers will be called precisely at 6 p.m., according to the statement.
