A company that installs solar panels for commercial and residential clients is moving to Temecula.
Freedom Solar has agreed to lease 21,365 square feet of a building at 43445 Business Park Drive that will be its corporate headquarters, according to a statement released by Avison Young’s San Diego office.
The company, which currently occupies an 8,000-square-foot building at 25819 Jefferson Ave. in Murrieta, plans to move to the Temecula location in March. The two-story building, which covers 32,638 square feet, will be fully occupied once that happens.
The lease is for 88 months. Financial terms were not disclosed, and it was not known how many people will work at the new facility.
Officials with Freedom Solar could not be reached for comment.
The building is two blocks west of Interstate 15 in Rancho California Business Park, one of Temecula’s larger business parks. It’s close to several retail shops and restaurants, including the Ballast Point Brewery and Restaurant, which is across the street.
