The city also anticipates getting $533,300 in Home Investment Partnership funds and about $174,000 in Emergency Solutions Grants, both of which are also given out by HUD. All of that money is being allocated for fiscal year 2018-’19.
Moreno Valley’s Financial & Management Services Department will accept proposals through Jan. 31. Applications are available by calling (951) 413-3450.
Eligible projects include neighborhood improvements, housing rehabilitation, establishing affordable housing, crime prevention and code enforcement. Both government and certified non-profit agencies may apply for funding, according to the statement.
