Southwest Airlines will offer more service between Ontario International Airport and Portland Ore., beginning Aug. 7.
The flights, which were announced Thursday, are the first new domestic service added at the airport since 2010, said Jess Romo, the airport’s general manager.
“It’s 268 more seats every day, so that should help our passenger count,” Romo said. “We expect to keep seeing a slow, steady increase in our passenger traffic.”
