Aldi, the discount grocery store chain that opened eight stores in the Inland Empire last month, is set to open another Inland Empire location.

The store at 4020 Highland Ave. is one of 10 stores scheduled to open Thursday, according to a company statement.

All other locations are in Los Angeles or Orange County.

Aldi, which plans to open nearly 2,000 stores nationwide by the end of 2018, will open locations in Palm Desert and Menifee between May and July of this year.
