Stater Bros. will soon open its 30th supermarket in Orange County.
A ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled to be held at 8 a.m. Wednesday at the store, which will be part of the 22-acre Village of Tustin Legacy retail center, according to a statement.
The supermarket, which will cover nearly 44,000 square feet, is at 15150 Kensington Park Drive. It will include full-service meat, seafood and produce departments along with a delicatessen, bakery and fruit-cutting department.
“This new supermarket demonstrates Stater Bros. ongoing commitment to the Tustin community we’ve served since 1970,” said Pete Van Helden, Stater Bros.’ president and chief executive officer, in the statement.
San Bernardino-based Stater Bros. is the largest privately owned supermarket chain in Southern California and the larges private employer in the Inland Empire, with 171 stores and approximately 18,000 employees, according to the statement.
