Apply Valley once again offering passports

Apple Valley has resumed processing passport applications.

Appointments are required and no walk-ins will be accepted, according to a statement posted today on the town’s website.

“As COVID numbers decrease, and opportunities to travel resume, the demand for passports is expected to rise,” said Town Clerk LaVonda Pearson in the statement. “The Town takes the hassle and confusion out of the process by offering this convenient service in the Town Clerk’s Office.”

Apple Valley has processed more than 17,000 passport during the last 18 years.

Standard passports for adults are $110. Passports for children age 15 and under are $80. A $35 processing fee is charged for each passport.
