Artists wanted

Moreno Valley is looking to spruce up city hall, and a few other public buildings.

The city is accepting applications from local artists who would like to see their art displayed through Moreno Valley’s Art Loan program, according to a statement.

All selected work will be displayed from September through December. The program is restricted to artists who live in Moreno Valley.

The city’s Arts Commission will review all submitted materials. Family-oriented artwork is preferred, and the deadline to apply is Aug. 17.

Applications are available at http://www.moval.org/city_council/committees/arts.shtml.

For more information, contact Moreno Valley Parks & Community Services at (951) 413.3701.
