Mayor Rusty Bailey will deliver Riverside’s State of the City address Thursday at the Riverside Convention Center.
This year’s theme is “Foundations For Our Future,” according to a statement on the city’s website.
“We face major challenges ahead, some unique to our city and others shared by most cities in California,” Bailey said in the statement. “The foundations we have laid down as a community will be key to addressing and overcoming those challenges.”
The annual event is produced by the city and the Greater Riverside Chambers of Commerce. It’s meant to be a review of the past 12 months and a look at the major issues in Riverside’s immediate future.
Registration begins at 4:45 p.m., with the program scheduled to start at 5:30 p.m. General admission seating is free. Reserved seating is available for $50 and includes a ticket to the reception after the speech.
Reserved tickets may be purchased at www.riverside-chamber.com or by calling (951) 683-7100.
