Construction has started on a 48-unit apartment complex in Beaumont that will be made available to homeless people and people on the verge of being homeless.
Summit View Apartments is being developed at 1343 E. 8th St. by National Core, a nonprofit developer of affordable housing, according to a statement on Riverside County’s website.
The county donated $6 million from its Housing and Homelessness Incentive Program, to help pay for the project. When completed, Summit View will consist of 47 regular units and one manager’s unit, all with one bedroom.
The county also created voucher program that will help with rental payments.
“Housing is a fundamental human need that should not be determined by a person’s income,” Supervisor Yxstian Gutierrez said in the statement. “We need to continue to collaborate on meaningful projects like the Summit View Apartments to provide quality, affordable housing for all.”
The project, which will include a 2,100-square-foot community center, is expected to be completed in late 2026, according to National Core.

How do I apply
How much is the rent
How to apply
Considering using “tiny” homes for Veterans during Rehabilitation on our property.
The upside is there’s plenty of space but little money for permits which is a way of saying permission from county, State, federal permission. Renting rooms and cottages is what I personally am interested in providing a sober environment.
How to apply I’ve been living in Riverside county Beaumont Perris for the last five years
