Herve Blondel has been named general manager of Glen Ivy Hot Springs.
Blondel has an “extensive background” overseeing luxury resorts in International destinations, according to hospitality.net.
Most recently, he spent three years as general manage at Rancho La Puerta, a resort and hotel in Tecate Baja, California, Mexico, where he managed 450 employees.
Blondel’s establishments have receive multiple awards, including Best Health & Wellness Resort in the World and a spot on the Condé Nast Gold List.
Glen Ivy Hot Springs is in Corona at the base of the Santa Ana Mountain Range. Established in 1860, it covers 12 acres and include 19 pools, whirlpools, mineral baths and a botanical gardens.
The facility recently underwent a $2.5 million upgrade, hospitality.net reported.
