A chain of nonprofit blood banks that serves more than 80 Southern California hospitals has leased space in Moreno Valley.
Lifestream Blood Bank will occupy 3,000 square feet in the District at Moreno Valley, a neighborhood shopping center at Hemlock Avenue and the 60 Freeway, according to Progressive Real Estate Partners in Rancho Cucamonga.
Lifestream signed a 10-year lease on the space, which it expects to occupy by next summer. In addition to it hospital work, Lifestream conducts about 1,700 mobile blood drives annually at schools, businesses, churches.
The District is anchored by Sprouts and Floor & Decor. Specialty tenants include WSS, Starbucks, KFC, Yoshinoya, IHOP, The Joint Chiropractic and Pacific Dental.
About 103,000 vehicles pass by The District on a typical day. The shopping center is less than two miles from Moreno Valley Mall and Towngate Shopping Center, both off which have multiple national retailers.
More than 143,000 people with an average household income of $76,300 live within a three-mile radius of The District, according to Progressive.
