Morongo tribe donates $6.5 million to hospital

Casino to host two job fairs

Morongo Casino Resort & Spa will hold two job fairs in October.

The first event, scheduled for Oct. 11, will be held in the Morongo Grand Ballroom, according to a statement on the casino’s website.

The second, scheduled for Oct. 18, will take place in the Marketplace food hall. Casino officials hope to make about 100 hires, some of them on the spot. Both fairs will run from 10 a.m. to noon.

Positions are available in cash operations, count room, entertainment, food and beverage, hospitality, housekeeping, promotions, public safety and the Morongo Travel Center.

“This is an incredibly exciting time to join the Morongo Casino Resort & Spa as we see strong demand and continued growth in the years ahead,” said Richard St. Jean, Morongo’s chief operating officer, in the statement.

The casino, at 49500 Seminole Drive in Cabazon, is owned and operated by the Morongo Band of Mission Indians.
