A Northern California bank has agreed to match a $50,000 donation by Ontario-based Citizens Business Bank meant to help Los Angeles County communities that were damaged in the recent wildfires.
The Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco will make the donation to Union Station Homeless Services in Pasadena, money that will go to individuals, families, and businesses harmed by the fires, according to a statement on Citizens Business Bank’s website.
“We want to remind our communities that we will get through this together,” said David Brager, Citizens Business Bank’s president and chief executive officer, in the statement. “These donations are supporting local families and businesses that can use the help right now.”
Citizens Business Bank has now donated $200,000 to the victims of fires in Altadena and surrounding communities, according to the statement.
