CBRE to look for medical tenants

CBRE Group Inc. has been chosen to market a new 60,000-square-foot medical office building in Riverside.

The building, Riverbrock Medical Plaza, is part of Riverside Community Hospital’s multi-million dollar expansion project that began during the spring of 2013, according to a statement released Tuesday by CBRE Group.

Riverbrock Medical Plaza, at 4510 Brockton Ave., was completed in July. It already has a pharmacy and a five-level parking garage.

The expansion, which is being done to accommodate the growing population in the greater Riverside area, is expected to be finished during 2017, according to the statement.

CBRE Group First Vice President John Oien, Associate Cynthia Hilywa, and Senior Vice President Bryan Lewitt have been selected to find tenants for the building.

Riverside Community Hospital currently has 373 beds, more than 500 physicians on staff and an estimated 1,900 employees, according to the statement.
