November is the month of thanks and gratitude. I give thanks for having the platform of a podcast to give something back to the small business community. This sector is under siege due to inflation, rising interest rates, increased minimum wages, increased cost of raw materials, etc. Further, CEOs need to make a decent salary or profit to allow them to keep up with the rise in their personal expenses as well, be it, food, housing, gas, or utilities, etc.
This month I produced three shows, one aired on Nov. 8th, one Nov. 15, and a very short show will air on Nov 29th. The Nov 8th show features Ryan Miller who is a performance coach. Ryan and his wife survived the 2017 Las Vegas mass shooting. Ryan shares how this horrible tragedy made him a better coach and how he helped his business clients be more productive as well. The Nov. 15 show features Karla Gonzalez, assistant director of the SBDC and a government contracting expert. Karla walks through the ABCs of securing government contracts be it federal, state or municipal. These entities buy a lot of products/services from the private sector.
My Nov. 29th show will be short, (5 mins) and will discuss how more and more Hollywood Celebrities are creating their own brands rather than promoting some other companies’ brands. It’s an impressive list of celebrities. Check out the shows at https://bit.ly/46ezOqB.
