Citizens Business Bank has been named one of best banks in the United States by Forbes magazine.
The Ontario-based financial institution has made the publication’s list of top banks nine times in the last 10 years, according to a statement released Feb. 5 by CVB Financial, the bank’s holding company.
“We are honored to receive recognition once again for our strong financial performance,” said David Brager, president and chief executive officer of CVB Financial Corp. and Citizens Business Bank, in the statement. “This achievement is a testament to the dedication of our associates, as well as the enduring relationships we have developed with our customers.”
Forbes assesses 100 of the largest publicly traded banks and thrifts based on their asset size. Its rankings are based on ten metrics related to credit quality, growth, and profitability, according to the statement.
