Moreno Valley has received a Gold Excellence in Economic Development Award from the International Economic Development Council.
The city received the award for the website it uses to attract businesses, www.morenovalleybusiness.com, according to a statement posted on the city’s general information website.
The website, which went online last year, explains why the city is a good place to do business and can be accessed with a variety of devices. It includes photos of the city taken by drones, infographics, videos and two GIS story maps.
It also provides external property search services and content dedicated exclusively to business attraction, according to the statement.
“The City Council approved development of MorenoValleyBusiness.com as a tool that incorporates the latest technological features to deliver critical city and site specific information,” Mayor Yxstian Gutierrez said in the statement. “We’re very happy with the response we hear from the business community.”
