Moreno Valley Councilman Jeffrey Giba has been reappointed to the League of California Cities’ Transportation, Communication and Public Works Policy Committee.
“I have been actively serving our community by advocating for transportation needs for several years in different capacities,” Giba said in the statement.
“I am honored to continue serving in this capacity, and as a staunch champion for the region’s transportation needs, I understand the urgency of bold policies that will benefit the Moreno Valley community.”
The committee reviews state and federal legislation that concern transportation funding, construction, public works, telecommunications, among other issues. It then makes recommendations to the league’s board of directors, according to the statement.
