Moreno Valley is scheduled to break ground Oct. 3 on its Civic Center Amphitheater and Park.
The facility, which will be built next to the Conference and Recreation Center at 14075 Frederick St. will seat 600 people, according to a statement on the city’s website.
It will include an audio-visual pavilion for movies and will be available to the public for renting, specifically community groups and businesses.
Parking will be available for up to 400 vehicles.
The ground breaking ceremony, which is scheduled to start at 5:30 p.m. at the conference and recreation center, is open to the public. For more information visit www.moval.org or call (951) 413-3280.
