Construction has begun on a 1.1-million-square-foot logistics building in unincorporated Riverside County.
Knox Logistics VII, a warehouse distribution center, is being developed by Trammell Crow Co. and Clarion Partners LLC at I-215 freeway and the Cajalco Expressway, according to a statement released this week.
“We are very excited to begin construction on our second building in this size range along the I-215 corridor and look forward to seeing Knox Logistics VII take shape in the coming months,” said Tom Bak, senior managing director for Trammell Crow Newport Beach, in the statement. “In addition to the property being in a prime location, Knox VII will have the best-in-class design and specifications, which we believe will help attract e-commerce or logistics firms.”
The speculative project is expected to be ready in the second quarter of next year. Construction cost, and how many jobs it might create, was not available.
