Convention bureau releases new visitors guide

The Greater Ontario Convention & Visitors Bureau has released a redesigned version of its Official Visitors Guide.

First published in 2013, the publication promotes greater Ontario as the ideal place from which to take advantage of all of Southern California’s tourist attractions, said Michael Krouse, the bureau’s president and chief executive officer, in a statement.

The new visitors guide is available at Gocvb.org, where it can be downloaded or obtained by email. It’s also available at the California Welcome Center at Ontario Mills.

The visitors bureau represents Ontario and Rancho Cucamonga and is funded exclusively by the Greater Ontario Tourism Marketing District. It recently ended the 2018-’19 fiscal year with a $51.9 million impact on the local economy, according to the statement.

Besides the updated visitors guide, the visitors bureau recently built a website, Gocvb.org, and produced a destination marketing video, according to the statement.
