Corona joins MTSJC board of trustees

Jhalister Corona has joined the Mt. San Jacinto College Board of Trustees.

A world history teacher in the Perris Union High School District for the past 20 years, Corona was sworn in Dec. 15, and now represents Area Four, according to a statement on the community colleges’ website.

Corona attended Mt. San Jacinto College and holds degrees from Whittier College, the Claremont Graduate School of Education, and Cal State San Bernardino.

He won multiple varsity letters in high school, has coached soccer, cross country, track and wrestling, and holds Whittier College’s record in the 1500 meters, according to the statement.
