Federal funding will pay for major street upgrades in Riverside

Corona looks to help small businesses

Corona is offering $5,000 and $10,000 grants to its small businesses.

Charitable Venture, a nonprofit in Santa Ana, is administering the program with revenue from the American Rescue Plan Act, according to a statement on the city’s website.

The $5,000 grants will go to commercial and home-based operations with no more than four employees, while the $10,000 grants are reserved for businesses with five to 25 employees.

Grants are limited and will be awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Applications will be accepted until 5 p.m. December 8. To apply, visit bit.ly/coronabusinessgrants.
