The Jack H. Brown College of Business and Public Administration at Cal State San Bernardino has had its accreditation extended by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International.
The extension “reaffirms JHBC’s commitment to academic excellence and underscores their dedication to providing high-quality business education,” according to a statement on the university’s website.
Generally considered one of the more prestigious in U.S. academia, the AACSB imprimatur is based on the quality of a school’s faculty, curriculum and its efforts at ongoing improvement.
“This extension of AACSB accreditation is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our faculty, staff and students,” said Tomas Gomez-Arias, dean of the college, in the statement. “It validates our efforts to maintain high standards of educational quality in the fields of business.”
One thousand and twenty six institutions in more than 65 countries and territories are accredited by the AACSB, according to the statement.
