Cal State San Bernardino has been listed among the top 100 colleges and universities for Hispanics in the United States by an education magazine.
The university was recognized for outstanding performance in total enrollment, the awarding of bachelor’s degrees, and the awarding of master’s degrees, according to Hispanic Outlook in Higher Education.
Those listings were published in the magazine’s October 2020 editions. They’re based on data from the U.S. Department of Education’s National Center for Education.
“The rankings show Cal State San Bernardino’s commitment to the success of our students, many of whom are the first in the families to attend a four-year college or university,” said Cal State San Bernardino President Tomás D. Morales in a statement on the university’s website. “It is especially gratifying to once again be named among the top universities for Hispanics.”
Cal State San Bernardino was ranked 23rd in total enrollment for the 2018-2019 academic year. That included a Hispanic enrollment of 12,663, or 63 percent of the university’s total enrollment of 20,238, according to the statement.
