CSUSB ranked among best western colleges

Cal State San Bernardino has been ranked one of the best colleges in the western United States by The Princeton Review.

This is the 16th year that Cal State San Bernardino has been named among the top colleges in the west by The Princeton Review, a tutoring, test prep, and college admission service, according to a statement.

Its 2020 Best Colleges: Region by Region website lists 127 colleges and universities in 15 western states, according to a statement.

“Cal State San Bernardino is deeply honored to be named as one of the best colleges in the West,” said Shari McMahan, the school’s provost and vice president of academic affairs, in the statement.

“It reflects the dedicated efforts of our faculty, staff and administrators who strive to provide our students with an outstanding cutting-edge education at a reasonable cost.”

The website feature lists 656 colleges that The Princeton Review recommends – mostly because of academic standards – in five regions: northeast, southeast, midwest, west and international.

Those colleges make up 22 percent of the four-year colleges in the United States, according to the statement.
