Cal State San Bernardino has been ranked among the top online-friendly universities for military personnel.
The website www.intelligent.com studied 224 schools and ranked each on a scale of 0 to 100, with 63 making the list of Online Military Friendly Colleges, according to a statement on the university’s website.
Cal State San Bernardino was ranked the top online military program among state universities.
“In addition to reviewing the overall reputation and strength of the institutions, we took a close look at their programs and support offered to active duty service members, veterans, and their families, to determine which were the best bets for this specific group of students,” the online publication stated. “Our top picks for the best military-friendly colleges are well-respected and affordable.”
The center offers programs unique needs of service members, including new student veterans orientation, a weekly mental health support group, science, technology, engineering and mathematics tutoring; SALUTE Veterans National Honor Society, advocacy and referral services and a military veterans writers group.
