Cal State San Bernardino has received a $271,000 endowed scholarship that will help students pursue a career in supply chain or manufacturing-operations management.
The scholarship was set up by the Association for Supply Chain Management – American Production and Inventory Control Society’s Inland Empire chapter, according to a statement on on the university’s website.
“The goal of the scholarship is to promote interest in the field, which is named as one of the main drivers of the economic growth in the Inland Empire,” said Nasrin Mohabbati, assistant professor of logistics and supply chain management in Cal State San Bernardino, in the statement.
“The scholarship will have a significant impact on supporting students’ excellence in their education who will become the future leaders and decision-makers of the region.”
