A discount chain will locate in a former Kmart site in Fontana.
Crazy Boss Discount Store will occupy the 103,157 square-foot space at 17099 Valley Blvd. in the Vineyard Valley Center, according to Progressive Real Estate Partners in Rancho Cucamonga.
Progressive, which specializes in small to medium-size retail projects, represented buyer and seller in the lease negotiations. Both parties wished to remain anonymous, and details of the lease were not disclosed.
The store is expected to open this fall. It will join Food 4 Less, Big Lots, dd’s Discounts, and several other tenants in the neighborhood shopping center, which covers 285,000 square feet at Interstate 10 and Sierra Avenue.
More than 200,000 vehicles travel through that intersection on a typical day, according to Progressive.
Crazy Boss is a “soft goods” retailer – clothing, accessories, shoes, toys, and home décor, among other items – with five stores in Texas and two in San Bernardino, according to the company’s website.
