Document Retrieval Company Moves to Larger Site

A company that recovers medical records for attorneys and insurance claims adjustors has moved to Loma Linda.

ABI Document Support Services moved from Park Avenue in Redlands into 25,100 square feet of office space in the Corporate Business Center, 10459 Mountain View Ave., said Leslee Detillo, marketing manager for the company.

About 165 people work there now, and the company expects to add staff during the next year or so, Detillo said.

“We are in growth mode and this building will allow us to grow,” said Detillo, who joined ABI Document last July. “It also has a great freeway access. We love it.”

The Loma Linda office is AB Document’s North American headquarters.

ABI Document was founded in 1981 in Redlands by Alice Benge, the first licensed female private investigator in California. Today it’s run by her son, David Benge, the company’s president and executive vice president, according to a statement.

ABI Document retrieves more than 50,000 documents a year throughout the United States. It has 12 offices in eight states and employs about 425 people nationwide, Detillo said.
