Donut chain to land in Upland

Dunkin’ Donuts will open a drive-thru restaurant in Upland next month.

The location, a 3,000-square-foot storefront at the Mountain Green Shopping Center, will be the company’s first drive-thru facility in San Bernardino County, according to a report in the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin.

The restaurant is scheduled to open March 10. It will be operated by Batter Boys Inc., one of Dunkin’ Donuts new franchisees.

Dunkin’ Donuts operates a store in Barstow, but it does not include a drive-thru. In 2013, the chain announced it planned to open 44 stores in Southern California, marking its return to that market.
