Eastvale city manager steps down

Bryan Jones has resigned as Eastvale’s city manager.

Jones, who was placed on paid administrative leave in December, officially left office Monday, according to a report.

Five days earlier, all five city council members voted to accept Jones’ resignation.

No explanation for Jones’ resignation has been given.

“it’s time to pursue new opportunities,” Jones said in a statement. “Together we accomplished many great initiatives, including putting Eastvale on the map for economic development.”

Henry Garcia has been Eastvale’s acting city manager since January.
