A former bowling alley in Lake Elsinore will reopen under new management, perhaps within a few weeks.
Pins ‘n’ Pockets, formerly the Trevi Entertainment Center, will feature bowling, pocket billiards and banquet facilities, according to a report in The Press-Enterprise.
Inland Pacific California owns the building, a 35,000-square-foot structure at 32250 Mission Trail.
The building began as a Kmart but had been vacant for several years in the mid-2000s when it was purchased by Michel Knight, a local businessman. Knight converted the structure into the Trevi Entertainment Center, which went into bankruptcy three months ago, a victim of the recession and several political fights.
Several events, including birthday parties, wedding receptions, quinceaneras, were booked at the entertainment center when it closed. Several unnamed parties have yet to receive refunds, according to the report.
Inland Pacific officials have vowed to meet with people who lost bookings to see what, if anything, can be done to help them, according to the report.
