Entrepreneurial Resource Center opens in Palm Desert

The Inland Empire Center for Entrepreneurship at Cal State San Bernardino has opened an Entrepreneurial Resource Center in Palm Desert.

The resource center, the IECE’s third such facility in the Empire, will help aspiring entrepreneurs in the Coachella Valley start their own business, and established business owners expand their base of operation, according to a statement.

An opening ceremony, attended by local dignitaries, was held last month. The resource center is at 37023 Cook St., across the street from the Cal State San Bernardino Palm Desert campus.

“We at CSUSB are always looking for ways to support and strengthen opportunities and conditions for all who live here,” said Tomas Morales, Cal State San Bernardino president, in the statement, “We view the resource center as a catalyst for economic growth in the city of Palm Desert, and the greater Coachella Valley region.”

The entrepreneurship center operates resource centers in San Bernardino and Temecula. It opened the Palm Desert facility in partnership with Cal State San Bernardino’s School of Entrepreneurship, according to the statement.
