The Randall W. Lewis Center for Entrepreneurship at Cal State San Bernardino has helped generate more than $1 billion for the Inland Empire economy during the last 20 years, the organization has announced.
That figure includes helping startup businesses and businesses that want to expand get access to capital, helping entrepreneurs increase sales and profits, and assisting companies looking for government contracts according to a statement.
The center has also helped Inland businesses move into international markets. The $1 billion claim is based on the center’s year-end reporting for 2025.
“We’ve got a dedicated professional team of business consultants that deliver services every day, working with our clients in the community,” said Mike Stull, director of the entrepreneurship center, in the statement.
In 2025, the center helped 12,730 businesses, supported nearly 300 startups, generated more than $188 million in economic impact, and helped create or retain nearly 8,500 jobs according to the statement.
