The Inland Empire Center for Entrepreneurship at Cal State San Bernardino is looking to fill two administrative positions, one of which is new.
The assistant director will play a key role in the organization and will report directly to Mike Stull, the center’s director, according to a statement.
Monica Estrella, the current assistant director is retiring in July. Application reviews will begin May 3, and the position will pay between $56,316 and $88,740, according to a posting on the university’s website.
Officials hope to have the position filled by June 1.
The new position, Entrepreneur/Investor in Residence, has been under consideration for several years. The new hire will help develop the center’s student-business accelerator, work with student start-ups and teach some master’s and undergraduate courses.
Salary will be based on qualifications and the position is expected to be filled by September, according to the website.
Ideal candidates would have an academic and business background along with a passion for helping students develop start-up companies, Stull said.
