Brian Fallon has been named chief of the Victorville Fire Department.
Fallon, who joined Victorville Fire in September as a battalion chief after spending 16 years with Rancho Cucamonga Fire, took over as head of the department June 3, according to a statement.
“Brian is proof that we have great talent and strong leaders in our Victorville Fire Department,” said Victorville City Manager Keith C. Metzler in the statement. “Brian will make an excellent chief. We are excited for Brian to take our fire department to the next level.”
Fallon replaces Jeff Armstrong, who has been Victorville’s fire chief since February 2021. Fallon began his career in 2000 as a paramedic with American Medical Response, and he remains a certified paramedic, according to the statement.
