Students at Mt. San Jacinto College began the fall semester Monday amidst some improvements that weren’t there during the spring.
Two of the college’s campuses – San Jacinto and Menifee Valley – have new study areas as well as new indoor and outdoor seating areas, according to a statement on the school’s website.
Bathrooms, athletic facilities, the school’s art gallery and student dining area also have been overhauled. The improvements were paid for with funds from Measure AA, the $295 million facilities bond passed by Riverside County voters four years ago.
More than 15,400 students attended classes at Mt. Jacinto College’s campuses – Temecula and San Gorgonio Pass, along with San Jacinto and Menifee Valley – on Monday, according to the statement.
