Farmer Boys Names New Marketing Officer

Farmer Boys has appointed Larry Rusinko as its chief marketing officer. The Riverside-based restaurant chain made the announcement August 24. Rusinko has more than 25 years of brand building and strategic marketing experience.

“Farmer Boys continues to grow and Larry is undoubtedly the right person to oversee our marketing efforts,” said Karen Eadon, president and COO, Farmer Boys. “He is a dynamic leader with a proven track record of leveraging consumer insights to drive sales and profitability during significant periods of expansion.”

Rusinko will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company’s communication initiative, including brand positions, promotions, merchandising, consumer research and media development.

Rusinko makes the move to Farmer Boys after working as an independent consultant for multi-unit restaurants, helping them solve business challenges. He has held senior level marketing roles at Rubio’s Fresh Mexican Grill, Friendly’s Ice Cream and Panera Bread.

He will be replacing Eadon, who promoted in May from chief marketing officer to president and chief operating officer.

Founded in 1981, Farmer Boys operates 84 restaurants in California and Nevada.
