Firefighters Raise Money for Charity

Redlands Fire Station 261 will donate $5,000 to Inland Women Fighting Cancer Believe Walk, the annual fundraiser conducted by Stater Bros. Charities’ that raises money for cancer centers and cancer-fighting organizations in Riverside and San Bernardino counties.

The firefighters recently conducted a pink ribbon t-shirt campaign to raise awareness about the fight against cancer, with all of the proceeds earmarked for Believe Walk, according to a statement.

This year’s campaign raised $5,000, which will be presented to Stater Bros. Charities during a ceremony scheduled to be held Tuesday at Station 261, 525 E. Citrus Ave.

Firefighters from Station 261 have raised $13,000 for Believe Walk since 2013.
