A division of Berkshire Hathaway has purchased the former location of a recreational vehicle manufacturer in Hemet.
Forest River Inc. bought the plant once used by Skyline Corp. from KPL Scaffold in China last month, according to a report in The Press-Enterprise.
Cost of the transaction was not revealed. Skyline Corp. closed in 2012.
Forest River makes Class A, B and travel trailers and other recreational vehicles. The facility will be Forest River’s 67th assembly plant in the United States, according to the report.
