Modus Furniture International has renewed for five years the lease on its Fontana warehoused-distribution operation.
The Los Angeles-based company, one of the largest makers of commercial furniture in the United States, signed a $6 million agreement to remain at Vintage Park East, according to a statement.
Colliers International Ontario represented Modus Furniture in the lease negotiations. The building , at 11751 Cabernet Drive, covers 231,600 square feet.
Vintage Park East is a 140-acre facility that contains approximately 2.5 million square feet of warehouses. It’s near a network of major truck routes that include Interstates 10, 15, 210, 215 and the 60 Freeway.
Modus Furniture’s corporate neighbors at Vintage Park East include Walmart, General Electric, Macy’s, Home Depot and Georgia Pacific, according to the statement.
