Prasad Garimella has been named executive director of OneLegacy, an organ procurement agency that serves the Inland Empire and much of Southern California.
A 15-year OneLegacy employee, Garimella was chief operating officer and chief information officer before being moved up to executive director of the Los Angeles-based agency, according to a statement.
Longtime Chief Executive Officer Tom Mone will become chief external affairs officer and vice President of foundation operations. He will oversee the OneLegacy Foundation, its community investments and its government, community and media outreach, according to the statement.
“I am honored to continue my service with this incredible organization,” Garimella said in the statement. “OneLegacy has established itself, acting as a national leader in research and innovation and working hand-in-hand with local communities to improve organ donation.”
