Gas station/convenience store sold

A Shell gas station and convenience store in Chino has been sold.

The facility, at 12510 Central Ave., sold recently for $2.9 million to a Corona-based private investor who operates multiple ARCO gas stations in the Inland Empire, according to Progressive Real Estate Partners in Rancho Cucamonga.

The seller was a private investor in Los Angeles. Progressive Real Estate represented both parties in the transaction.

Built in the mid-1980s, the station sits on a half-acre at a four-way intersection that has traffic counts of more than 50,000 vehicles a day. The convenience store is open 24 hours a day, and Starbucks, Wells Fargo Bank and Jack in the Box are located at other points of the intersection, Progressive Real Estate reported.
