Robin Glenney has been named Riverside’s assistant general manager for water deliveries.
Glenney, who has has spent more than 10 years in utility management, is now in charge of water design engineering and managing water resources, according to a statement on the city’s website.
She is also responsible for making sure the city complies with state and federal water regulations.
“Robin Glenney has a record of leadership and operational excellence,” said David Garcia, general manager of Riverside Public Utilities, in the statement. “Her qualifications, including her understanding of (Riverside’s) water system, made her the perfect candidate for this role.”
Glenney previously served as Riverside’s water system operations manager, where she was responsible for water operations and field teams. She also oversaw approximately 50 potable wells, and six treatment plants, according to the statement.
