Tomas Gomez-Arias is the new dean of the Jack H. Brown College of Business and Public Administration at Cal State San Bernardino.
Gomez-Arias, who named to the position in January following a nationwide search replaces Shanthi Srinivas, professor emerita, according to a statement on the university’s website.
Srinivas has been interim dean for the past year.
“We are delighted to have Tomas Gómez-Arias, an individual of exceptional business academic caliber and public sector experience, join our campus as the dean of the Jack H. Brown College,” said Cal State San Bernardino President Tomás D. Morales in the statement. “We look forward to his leadership in leading [the college] to its potential as one of the leading business colleges in the CSU, the state and the nation.”
Most recently, Gómez-Arias was dean of the College of Business Administration at California State University Stanislaus.
