Monica Green has been named president of Norco College.
The college’s interim president since July 1, Green will take over as the school’s first president April 1, according to a statement.
Green was appointed unanimously by the Riverside Community College District Board of Trustees.
“For over a decade Monica Green has shown commitment to the Riverside Community College District,” board President Mary Figueroa said in the statement. “I look forward to the accomplishments Norco College will see under her leadership.”
Green was previously vice president of planning and development at Riverside City College.
Before that, she served as dean, and later vice president, of the Norco College Student Services division from 2009 – 2018, where she developed and implemented student service programs, according to the statement.
