Grocery chain to open Rialto location

A grocery store chain that specializes in the Latino community will occupy 8,000 square feet at a Rialto shopping center.

Rialto Ranch Market’s fourth store will be at Rancho Verde Plaza, a 110,000-square-foot retail facility at 2000 to 2026 N. Riverside Drive, according to a statement released today by SharpLine Commercial Partners.

The store, which will include a butcher shop, is expected to open this fall. The space it will occupy is currently vacant.

SharpLine negotiated the lease with the property’s owner, the Deeb Brothers. Details of the transaction were not released.

“This well-located shopping center hasn’t had a grocer since Ralph’s vacated the property about five years ago,” said Barbara Armendariz, President and Founder of SharpLine Commercial Partners, in the statement. “Rialto Ranch Market is an ideal addition to this property and it will help serve people’s daily needs in the surrounding community.”

Rialto Ranch Market operates stores in Fontana, Santa Ana and Los Angeles.

Now fully occupied, Rancho Verde Plaza’s other tenants include Starbucks, Rite-Aid, Planet Fitness, AutoZone, Carl’s Jr. and Del Taco, according to the statement.

SharpLine is a full-service commercial real estate brokerage with offices in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Las Vegas. It executes deals throughout the United States, according to the statement.
