Perris has opened a health center that is available to walk-in patients.
The facility, at 1675 N. Perris Blvd, is operated by North County Health Services in San Marcos, which is making its first move into Riverside County, according to a statement posted on the city’s website.
A ribbon cutting was held June 15 with Mayor Daryl Busch, City Councilman Mark Yarbrough and members of the Perris Valley Chamber of Commerce in attendance. The health center provides a variety of services, including physical exams, immunizations and treatment for colds, flu and other ailments.
The center, which held a soft opening earlier this year, is staffed by one doctor and two nurse practitioners. It sees an average of 50 to 60 patients a day, according to the statement.
North County Health Services serves patients at 11 locations in San Diego County. The Perris facility is its first in Riverside County.
